Red Fraction Armageddon

Well if you have played The previous games of red fraction this should all be strightfoward for you. Now half a century has pasted and its the year 2170 and all of the colonists have retreated underground to seek shelter after a major change to Mar's surface. Causing it to be unhabitable for humanity.

The main chracter or revoltution hero if you are feeling dramatic is Darius Mason grandson of Alec Mason and Samanya (Wow mason likes aliens?? well thats men for you) Now poor Darius is tricked into opening a very ancient mysterious seal in an old Marauder temple. The seal releases a race called the plaque which causes a so-called armageddon ( I see where he gets his stupidness from) The plaque is actually has something to do with the very first red fraction where utlor (You might realise they were in Saints Row 2) Utlor where the first to discover them.

Kapek was driven mad and insane by studing these faul creatures but manged to seal them off from mars which our hero discovered then opened it again (how helpful) Now Darius must now unite the red fraction and stop these creatures before they wreak too much trouble across mars.

Weapons, Ok now we just need some big weapons too take on these things and save mars and be the hero blah blah blah. Now a THQ worker mentioned there were about 30 ish weapons in the game. Heres a list of them

  • Arc Welder (DLC Only)

  • Assault Rifle

  • EDF Enforcer (Requires Level 20 in Red Faction Battlegrounds) - Same as the one in Guerrilla

  • Dual Wield Banshee Pistols

  • Dual Wield Laser Pistols (DLC Only) - Sustained beam pistols which do damage over time but are prone to overheating. They knock off enemies with the cliche sci-fi disintegration.

  • Dual Wield Pistols

  • Magnet Gun

  • Maul

  • Mr. Toots - Acts the same as the Plasma Beam but with different effects. (Can be obtained in an easter egg)

  • Nano Rifle

  • Plasma Cannon

  • Plasma Beam

  • Plasma Thrower (DLC Only) - Like a flame-thrower but powerful against buildings.

  • Pulse Grenade Launcher - Timed explosive which destroys organics with minimal structural effects.

  • Rail Driver

  • Remote Charge Launcher

  • Rocket Launcher

  • Singularity Cannon

  • Shotgun

  • XNG-500

  • Having a look at them it appears there are stilll weapons from Red Fraction Gurrilia so that will keep RF fans happy well for the moment



    Well it looks like Red Fraction armageddon looks good enough with new gadgets, new weapons i wish you all the best in defeating those things.... and whatever else comes at you
